Spirit of God (Weddings)

The sign of God's love is Jesus the Lord:
In him is revealed that God is love;
And now love is seen in husband and wife:
Through them is our love perfected.

Christ has risen from the dead,
He has risen to die no more.

At the dawn of Easter morning,
When the stone was rolled away.
Then from the darkness rose in glory,
Jesus Christ, true risen Light,
Brightening all the earth's dark night.

From the depths of weary bondage,
All mankind has risen too,
All eyes are opened from their blindness
To the Light of heavenly view,
And with Christ they rise anew.
