Gethsemane, destiny, Jesus lonely plea,
Father if you will, take this cup from me,
Now my hour has come, destiny.
Gethsemane, destiny, Jesus Agony,
God’s redeeming grace, soon would come to me,
Jesus was to shed His Blood for me.
Gethsemane, destiny, He died for me,
God gave us His son, thus the victory was won,
Jesus died for me on Calvary.
Gethsemane, destiny, He rose for me,
Jesus did not die, He ascended on high,
So God’s spirit could be given to me.
Gethsemane, destiny, He’ll come for me,
I shall follow Him, through this world I’m in,
Jesus shall be my destiny (2).
